Need: posters and memorabilia from previous NAS meetings

The IUSSI archive is in the business of preserving materials relevant to the history and development of our discipline. As I have said in the past, that sometimes means that I make it my business to ensure that materials are properly deposited elsewhere, and sometimes it is appropriate for our archive to keep them.

Sometimes you produce posters to advertise your sectional and regional meetings. Please make it a matter of routine to send those posters to the archive. I suggest that three exemplars would be appropriate. If a poster is large and really stupendous, it may be worth the extra bother and expense to send it in a mailing tube. However, for most purposes I suggest that it be folded to A4 or american letter size and sent in an ordinary large envelope. The folding takes away some of the attractiveness, to be sure, but it is much more convenient both for you and me, and for archival purposes it doesn't matter very much.
